On the eve of the bright holiday of Easter, the team of the “Orphans Future” Foundation held a warm meeting with young people—graduates of residential care institutions who are participants in our programs.

A new gathering of foster parents took place at the Hotel “Ternopil” — a space to rest and truly recharge.

During March 6–7, foster parents:

They are raising five or more children — children with different life stories, trauma, fears, and pain that isn’t visible from the outside.

On December 26–27, 2025, the final retreat of the year for 11 foster parents took place in Ternopil. The event was organized by the charitable foundation Orphans Future.

A two-day retreat for 10 foster parents from Berezhany, Pidvolochysk, Kremenets, Velyka Berezovytsia, Terebovlia, and Berezhany has been successfully completed at the Hotel Ternopil!

On October 17–18, 2025, a two-day retreat for 12 foster parents took place at the Ternopil Hotel. Together, these families are raising about 90 orphaned children. The event was organized by the charitable foundation “Orphans Future” and made possible through voluntary donations from caring supporters.

I have heard these words many times, but I understood them only here, at a two-day retreat for adoptive and foster parents organized by Orphans Future charity foundation during September 19-20. When you give your all to your children every day, when you live through their traumas and victories, it is very easy to forget who you are. It is easy to lose yourself in the flow of urgent matters, doctors, school assignments and emotional storms.

The third forum of adoptive families "Happiness of a child - growing up in a family" on June 5 achieved its goal and united under one roof 60 adoptive parents, guardians, foster carers, adoptive parents of the Ternopil region with more than 100 representatives of the authorities, communities, social services from all districts of the Ternopil region (55 communities of the Ternopil region)

On March 28–29, 2024, 14 foster parents from the Ternopil region took part in the sixth two-day meeting to restore emotional and physical resources. The event was held in a cozy hotel with comfortable accommodation and delicious food, which contributed to rest and recovery.

The fifth training and recovery session for 12 foster parents, who have taken children into their families for socialization and preparation for independent adult life, took place from February 28 to March 1, 2025, in the city of Ternopil.

A retreat for 12 foster parents from Ternopil region took place at the Ternopil Hotel on January 31 and February 1, 2025 thanks to the financial support from the Global Fund for Children (GFC), initiated by coordinator, Andriy Nazarenko. This is the fourth such event and it is filled with support, training and development of the foster parent community of Ternopil region.

From 27 to 28 December 2024 foster parents recharged their batteries in conditions of safety, care and mutual support together with psychologists Svitlana and Iryna.

Here is a place where everyone lives their parenthood. Here are kindred spirits. Each of us can be on the edge, but unbroken and believes in a miracle. Each exercise is like a psychological special force unit that blows up our fears and doubts. Adults made chocolate candies with such seriousness as if the fate of the universe depended on it.

Foster parents need support for the resources they require to raise the next generation of social orphans safely and adequately. It is a draining task so Orphans Future brought the foster parents together from October 25 to 26, 2024, in the city of Ternopil to recharge and refresh. This event was made possible by the close partnership of the Orphans Future Foundation (Evhen Hlyva's funds), the Global Fund for Children (USA), the "Ternopil" Hotel and the "Panorama" restaurant providing funds and facilities,

In times of war, the number of children without parental care increases, and we are doing our best to respond to today's challenges.

Providing families that raise and provide support to orphans as an alternative to residential institutions is one of the priorities of the Orphans’ Future charitable foundation.

The support of parents in times of uncertainty is extremely important, because their stability and resilience are the basis of a child's safe attachment and harmonious development.

We are very thankful to Global Fund for Children for the grant.

Clean (empty) sheets of paper were filled with text, thoughts, ideas, suggestions, experiences and possible visions of solving the problems of foster families in the Ternopil region.

Both in 2022 and in 2023, thanks to grant funds ($30,000) from the Global Fund for Children (USA), the Orphans Future Foundation provide monthly support to 35 families who are raising 166 orphans and children deprived of parental care in the Ternopil region, Ukraine.

During New Year and Christmas holidays in Ukraine, ten orphans, the pupils of Ternopil orphanage and Berezhany lyceum, spent an unforgettable time in the family circle of caring people who took part in the Foundation's Program “Host a Child in Family for Holidays”

On November 8th, Ukrainian Day of Prayer for Orphans is a day on which believers from various Christian Churches around the world pray to God for protection, blessings and happy families for all orphans and children deprived of parental care, as well as for God's grace for those who accept and raise them in their families.

Every child in our Ukraine has the right to grow up in a loving family, instead of an orphanage boarding school. We had the opportunity to share a piece of goodness with the Humenyuk family, who opened their hearts to help orphans and children deprived of parental love. They dared to create a family type home in the village of Velyka Berezovytsia, Ternopil district for ten children.

When winter holidays are over, we have great news for you to share. Fourteen children of Berezhany, Nove Selo, Grymailliv orphan boarding schools and Ternopil Orphanage spent New Year and Christmas holidays with nine families from Ternopil Region.
