Today we provided our orphan graduates with essential items for independent life before they leave for their new locations: Lviv, Ternopil or Ivano-Frankivsk. Most of them have their whole life in one document folder and two bags.
Today at the Orphans’ Future Foundation house, we talked, shared personal impressions, experiences and hopes. The graduates attended a Life Skills Training Program including self-analysis and for which they received Certificates for completing the first stage of readiness for independent living. The team wished the boys and girls success in this new stage of life and reminded them that they can always and anytime contact the charity for help or support.
This year, four teens became university students, three boys became college students, and two boys became vocational school students. All of them chose different areas of education based on the interests and aspirations including restaurant business, chef, psychology, computer technology and military.
This event takes place every year at the end of August at the Orphans Future Foundation. We gather to provide support and mentorship for orphan graduates. We would like to express our gratitude to our friends and partners who respond to our request for help to enable us to provide our youth in need with necessary items.
