This past weekend, from May 8–10, the Socialization House of the Orphans Future Foundation became a place of reflection, meaningful conversations, and first steps toward adulthood for teenagers from residential care institutions.
For our participants, these three days became a small journey into their own future.
Together with trainer Iryna Yaremchuk, the teenagers explored a topic that concerns every young person: how to choose a profession that will not only provide income, but also align with their abilities, personality, and dreams.
During the training, participants:
• learned the formula for making a conscious career choice
• identified their strengths, abilities, and practical skills
• explored how temperament type can influence career paths
• discovered different professional fields and modern career directions that will be in demand in the future
• completed practical exercises, reflected on themselves, and took their first steps in planning their professional future
For these teenagers, this was a chance to hear the important message: “You have the power to choose your own life.”
While the young people were actively engaged in the sessions, our partners kindly provided delicious lunches: Tsisar Restaurant, SFERA Restaurant, and Stara Pizzeria Café. We sincerely thank you for supporting this program.
Each visit to the Foundation’s house is more than just a training event — it is a space where teenagers learn independent living skills such as cooking, managing money, dreaming more boldly, and seeing a real future for themselves.
Special thanks to Volodia Yavorskyy for his support and for leading cooking lessons for the children at the Foundation house.
