On October 26, 2025, 30 children and youth from the Ternopil Regional Charity Foundation "Future for Orphans" embarked on an incredible cultural and historical excursion, "The Secrets of the Castles of Lviv Region." We dedicated this autumn day to a journey back in time, exploring the mighty fortresses and romantic palaces of the Lviv region.
Our bus tour unveiled the pages of our land's glorious past for the children:
Pidhoretskyy Castle: A true jewel of a palace, where we felt the spirit of aristocracy and imagined ourselves at a royal ball.
Oleskiv Castle: The birthplace of the Ukrainian King John III Sobieski, where history stood before us in all its grandeur.
Zolochiv Castle: A sturdy citadel that has witnessed many battles and secrets.
It was a genuine adventure! The children were thrilled to listen to legends of knights, explore ancient walls, learn about the lives of the castles' former residents, and take unforgettable autumn photos.
We sincerely believe that such journeys do more than just broaden horizons—they inspire and foster a love for our native land and its heritage.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to make this trip possible! A special thank you to our guide, Oleh, and our driver from "VIKI-TOUR" for the fascinating stories and safe travels. We also extend our gratitude to the chaperones: Zoriana Vitushynska, Diana (the tour nurse), and Yuliia Varvarynets, a social work student from the Ternopil Pedagogical University.
This memorable day was made possible thanks to your support and your belief in our children's future!
