Independent planning of time and setting goals remains a big challenge for children in childcare institutions.
“Time is not just hours in a day. It is a resource that determines who we will become tomorrow.”
It was with this thought that the final training for 12 teenagers began on May 16-18 on the topic “Time management and its impact on our goals and dreams.”
During the session, the participants:
– saw how easy it is to “lose a day” without doing anything important;
– recognized habits that steal time and energy;
– learned to plan the day so that there is room for study, dreams, and yourself;
This is important right now, because it is during adolescence that a lifestyle is formed:
– whether they will learn to manage time without stress,
– whether they will be able to gradually move towards their dreams,
– whether they will know how not to waste time on their phone or procrastination,
– and most importantly, whether they will learn to appreciate every day as a step into the future.
Time management is not about “being perfect,” but about being able to choose what is truly important.
After the training, the boys and girls consolidated the material covered in the program “On the Threshold of Independent Life” through active quests that the team of the Orphans” Future Foundation developed for them. Of course, there is a feeling that there is a need for systematic participation in such trainings throughout the year. We are grateful to the administrations of the institutions for their cooperation in the direction of social integration of orphans and children deprived of parental care. Berezhany Lyceum and Ternopil Orphanage, the Department of Education and Science of the Ternopil OVA. At the end of the program, participants received certificates
This weekend, children were treated to delicious lunches by our regular benefactors, the restaurants "Try Mykoly" and "Tsisar", and "Dobra Pizza". Since this is the last event of the school year, Volodymyr Yavorsky treated the children to cheeseburgers.
Despite the lunches, the teenagers independently made their own menus, bought the necessary products and prepared dishes for breakfasts and dinners.
We thank our benefactors Ken, Yana, Jonathan for their financial and material support in conducting this training. The cost of the children's visit was 12 thousand UAH.
