Thanks to your charitable donations, the two-day training "My Future Job" helped 12 teenagers from orphanages:
- Understand the importance of making a conscious career choice,
- Unlock their potential and get inspired for further development,
- Identify their professional interests,
- Discover their strengths,
- Gain tools for successfully choosing a future profession.
From February 21 to 23, girls and boys aged 14-17 gained experience in independent living at the house of Orphans Future Foundation. The teens learned to plan their meals, shop at the supermarket, cook meals, use public transportation, and navigate the area.
Together with trainer Iryna Yaremchuk, the teenagers discussed the importance of choosing a profession during adolescence and its impact on their future, as well as what can inspire their choices. The next day, Iryna organized a meeting for the children with professionals in the fields they had previously chosen. This allowed each participant to see, hear, and ask questions about their potential future profession face-to-face. The teenagers gained a clearer understanding of their interests and opportunities, and some may have even reconsidered their priorities.
Rostyslav Rudenskyi conducted a quest with board games for the teenagers, which challenged their minds and wit. The winners were Yelyzaveta, Anna, Stepan, and Danylo.
We sincerely thank the restaurants "Fayne Misto" and "Tsisar" for providing delicious hot lunches to the participants of the "On the Threshold of Independence" Program. Thanks to these meals, the children had more time to learn and play.
We thank Volodymyr Yavorskyi for his care and support of the teenagers throughout the three days.
We also thank the Ternopil Children's Home and Berezhany Lyceum for their trust and cooperation.
Anyone who cares about the future of orphaned and parentless children can support such trainings. We are grateful that each time, you contribute 100 hryvnias or more, enabling us to raise the necessary amount of 4,200 hryvnias to conduct a two-day training.
Thank you to volunteers Paul Field and Ken for their support and for providing pocket money to the children through the "Forward" bonus program.
