Life Skills training for orphanage teens

On the self-esteem of the individual and its role for teenagers who are on the threshold of independent life, Olena Koval, a psychologist, through interactive exercises and games, students immersed themselves deeper into their own world of introspection and awareness of the impact of self-esteem on their future.

In addition, the children went on a quest through the city of Ternopil (2 hours), took a boat ride on the Ternopil Pond (1 hour), attended a cultural event in the evening at the Ternopil National Drama Theater, where they watched the play "Where Children Come From" (2 hours). Young people were interested in seeing professional acting on the stage of the theater and it was educational for everyone and there is something to think about.

Already traditionally, during the Program, boys and girls were divided into teams, received funds, made their own menus for weekend breakfasts and dinners, and did shopping, cooking and cleaning up after themselves.

We are very grateful to the catering establishments of the city of Ternopil, which constantly support our annual program of socialization of orphans and treat our participants with lunch. This time we thank the establishments: "Autoport" and "Mamont", "Stara Pizzeria" for delicious dinners.

We thank the volunteers who, despite certain changes in the Program, supported and completed the work with the children. Volodymyr Yavorskyi and Zoryana Vitushynska.
