Charity Auction "Give Joy to a Child"

The following students of Ternopil State Medical University, Gorbachevskogo: Nazar Stelmach, Gnat Salomiya, Christine Sivak and Lazar Tatiana organized and conducted a charity auction "Give Joy to a Child" which provided moral and material support to the children living in orphanages of the Ternopil region in Ukraine.

The main objective of the auction was fundraising to purchase everyday essential items for the orphans.

The auction occurred via the social network VKontakte: This was a well attended event with much participation! The boys and girls posted their photos in albums, and the other participants ran the auction. All students of Ternopil educational institutions were invited to join in the auction.

On behalf of the orphans, we thank all the kind people who contributed to the charity campaign: auction participants, and people who donated money for a good cause. "The Orphans Future" campaign supports Ternopil youth and the promotion of philanthropy in its region.

$540 US dollars were collected during the auction and with the collected charitable funds were purchased: food, sweets, fruit, toiletries, stationery, and board games. Plus, a local company donated school supplies: clay, pencils, pens, paint, brushes, etc to develop children's creativity. All receipts you can see in the "Reporting" album:

The volunteers of the Charity Action visited Novo Selo regional municipal special orphanage, spent time with the children and delivered goods purchased from the auction funds.

"The day was a holiday for the kids. Thanks to all the participants who took part.

It's an amazing feeling when you're next to the children who need warmth, attention and kind words" - Stelmach Nazar - Organizer of the " Give Joy to a Child " auction.
