On May 14-15, 2019, in Kyiv, a seminar-seminar on the study of the methodology of reforming the institutional care and upbringing of children took place. The representative of the Orphans’ Future Foundation, Iryna Vakalyuk, together with the representatives of the Ternopil Regional State Administration, led by the deputy chairman Svitlana Bespopovtseva, took part in such an important event.
This seminar helped participants to form a common vision of reform and identified the common goals and objectives of the project and the Regional Plan for De-institutionalization and found the best ways to achieve them.
We are pleased that the #deinstitutionalization process is being implemented in our Ternopil Oblast and, above all, in the interests of the child and for a child who is educated in an internment system. As the orphanage boarding system traumatically affects all spheres of development of children.
We are adults can change children's lives today, replacing the boarding system of education with the family system in which every child can feel happy and needed.
Thank you to the Partnership for Every Child for the opportunity to be in the team of agents of change in the #deinstitutionalization, because that is a very important thing for each of us.
