On February 26, 2019, the students of social work of the Ternopil National Pedagogical University named by Volodymyr Hnatyuk visited the Ternopil Charity Foundation Orphans’ Future. The students had a great desire to learn about the activities of the Foundation, about its main activities at work, practical assistance to the target category among orphans and children who deprived of parental care and youth and about the results of implementation of the Fund's programs.
Andriy Nazarenko, the head of the Foundation explained to the students the mission of charity nonprofit organizations to the community, country and the world. Andriy shared the real situation in the organization and the role of non-profit organizations for society. He noticed to the students the difference between nonprofit and profitable organizations and where the funds come from in non-profit organizations and how donors and benefactors are involved in the Foundation mission.
In turn, Iryna Vakalyuk, a psychologist and coordinator of the Foundation's social programs, introduced the main goals of the activities of the organization and what practical significance they play in the lives of children and young people. Iryna shared her experience regarding the benefits of working in the Foundation and opportunities for young people, thereby motivating students to take initiatives and activities as future volunteers.
At the end of the meeting, it was nice to get feedback from the students.
“For us, new acquaintances are a new experience!”
New collaboration is new opportunities for children and young people first!
We are always open to new cooperation and will be glad to see people who care about the lives of orphan children and youth.
