Teenagers from Ternopil rural state-run orphanages will learn the basics of independent living. Orphans Future and Amici de Bambini will provide financial support to the project implementation through NGO “Brotherhood of Orphans”.
From December 2011 to May 2012, professional coaches and former graduates will train 56 students grades 9-11 of NoveSelo, Berezhany and Koropets rural boarding schools the basics of independent living. There will be four modules on the most important topics: "Life Perspectives", "Family Values", "Know your rights and be able to defend them," and other topics based on the current problems of graduates from orphanages. Each training group will have 14 participants and children will be taken out from their rural schools to the Ternopil city to discharge environment of freedom, of communication and learning.
The first courses were held on December 24th-25th, 2011 in Ternopil for 28 graduates of Berezhany and Nove selo orphanages.
“Training of orphans who have not yet emerged from the walls of boarding schools is a very important step in adapting to independent living” said the head of the Orphans Future - Andriy Nazarenko.
Budget of the Project is 4000 Euro
