There are many ways you can be part of Orphans Future Foundation work:

  • Encourage our orphans through personal support (with letters, gifts, and other needs)
  • If you have youth mentoring skills or a passion to help, come to Ukraine and join as a volunteer at our summer camp
  • Collect and send basic items such as clothing, shoes, developmental games, school and sports equipment, or gifts
  • Send a financial donation to help us to fund the Foundation's Programs. Contact us for details, as we have tax-deductible partners in Europe and the United States

Your generous contribution also goes towards the following: assisting orphan youth with psychological disorders, providing children in orphanages with diapers, toothbrushes and other bathroom supplies, bed sheets, blankets, and pillows, providing our graduates with household needs, transportation to/from orphanages.

Why should I help?

The Questions you need to ask yourself are simple: What if it was me ? What if it was someone I love, someone from my family, from my community? How would you feel if help did not come simply because people thought: It's not my country; It's not somebody I know or love; It's not my problem; Somebody else will help.

Helping orphans living at residential institutions is needed to prevent possible negative consequences to manifest later in their lives in form of, for example, homelessness, prostitution, alcoholism, drug addiction and gangsterism. Often these problems are the direct result of our inadequate action or even inaction during this important period of life of an orphan, when he or she does not have anyone close and needs to be supported morally, psychologically, legally and financially.

The Program and Project's implementation have been designed and created based on own experiences of the members of the team of volunteers and benefactors of the Orphans Future Foundation as well as from experiences of daily life realities of the students and graduates of residential institutions of Ternopil region.

You can help to give disadvantaged young man and woman the right to a dignified life in an open society.

The Foundation oversees the use of trust funds and provides accountability to its partners, sponsors and donors.

And, after you help a person, no matter how small the assistance is, say to yourself, "Today I helped someone and felt good about it." Indeed, if we had a world full of people who were ready and willing to perform just one kind act every day, we would have a much better world, and would leave behind a wonderful legacy for our children and for future generations to come.

If you have any questions about making a donation, please feel free contact Andriy Nazarenko at nazarenko@orphansfuture.org
