Thirty of our graduates from residential care institutions received support to help them stay warm during the freezing winter days in Ukraine.

Here we share our experience of working with young people (17-35 years old) who have left state care institutions and are adapting to adult independent life and need our support. The coordinator of work with our youth is Zoryana Vitushynska. She has 14 years of experience working with orphans. Her task is to interact with young people, listen to their problems and receive applications for assistance, provide consultations in resolving issues related to documents, finding a doctor, dentist, housing and registration. Zorian organizes joint support meetings every second month.

Young people who are orphans that have graduated from state run institutions often experience difficulties without a stable income and families to cover basic needs, especially during the holidays.

The "Easter Traditions 2024" fund program has come to an end, and we are grateful to our benefactors who helped create a small holiday for our children and youth in need.

Financial support of youth, from the number of orphans and children deprived of parental care, is one of the main tasks of the Orphans’ Future charitable foundation. Only thanks to the culture of charity of our people, we at the organization are able to provide financial assistance to our youth in need: for medical and dental examination / treatment, for training and self-development, for supporting social ideas and solving housing issues. So, during the period from January to March 2024, the twenty two young people aged 17 to 34 years old received such opportunities (financial aid). ($ 4000 US dollars was distributed).

Before Christmas, 50 thousand hryvnias from our friends and partners from the Netherlands, WALO group (Sjef Kemps, Gerard van Dijk) allowed us to provide 20 graduates of care institutions in Ternopil with the necessary products and basic necessities.

During the months of October - December 2023, young people who are participants in the programs of the "Future of Orphans" fund will have short informative meetings on the topics that are of most concern to today's youth: health, documents, rights and responsibilities, search and retention at work, psychology, and self-education.

Thanks to the humanitarian aid from WALO group, the Netherlands and Ukrainians Cordoba, Spain in February 22 graduates and 36 children of residential institutions of the Ternopil region received the necessary goods: power banks, reflective vests, hygiene products, and food products: soups, pasta, rice, sausages, vitamins, sugar , as well as: pans, pots, bedding and towels and sweets.

During the heating season, graduates of state run orphanage boarding schools of the Ternopil region experience a lack of funds to pay for utility services, especially for heat. Without the support of their parents, these young people find themselves in difficult circumstances and need our support.

Involved people through social networks in fundraising to collect items and funds for the purchase of 15 suitcases of household items for orphan graduates, who will leave orphanage boarding schools of the Ternopil region and will start independent life in September.

Today, we started implementing the charity event "Bag of Kindness" within the Helping Hand Program for needy orphanage graduates.

In anticipation of Easter, we gave light to 20 graduates - former students of state run orphanage boarding schools (including 15 mothers with 23 children), who needed support and attention under the Program of the Foundation "Hands of Help".
